Dear Bridge family,

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the tickets to the 7th Day Slumber Concert!

I also want to share my experience there on Friday. I was outside and met a man named Pat . We were talking about the show when I mentioned that I'd normally be at my Friday night recovery meeting and that I had won the tickets on The Bridge. Pat had shared that he was going to go into a rehab soon. Then he got all teary eyed and said that he wasn't sure why he was there with his two children, but that he felt like a hypocrite because he didn't know what he believed. I assured him that he was not there by accident. I shared a little of my own story with him along with some bible verses {ROMANS ROAD}... How GOOD GOD HAS BEEN TO ME. At one point my daughter Kayla and her friend and I actually laid hands on Pat...praying that GOD would reveal how much HE loves Pat and that the LORD would make Himself known to him. Later that evening when the lead singer gave his testimony and had an alter call I just happened to be right next to Pat and I told him that if he did not want to go forward alone that I'd be happy to go with him.....His reply was I'M GOING!!! Pat and both his children went forward. PRAISE JESUS! Pat and I shared phone numbers and are planning to attend the Friday night group together.

I commute to work approximately 35 minutes each way, so I catch most of the program to work and from work.  I really appreciate all that this station does...thanks for being here in Sullivan County!  (I Have attended BridgeFest several times and it is great.  Keep up the good work.) I usually catch the second half of Pastor Lloyd and the first portion of Greg Laurie in the morning drive.  On the way home I catch just about all of Brian Broderson.  We also LOVE Pastor's Perspective.  It is difficult to get radio in the house, due to our location, in a valley.  But we are often headed out at night and have it on.  I know that there are other Christians in the area listening too.  I work in Monticello at the Government center and every time I have to take out a county car, which is quite often, I find that the cars have 99.7 as a preset.  That is really cool! Thanks again for such a great station; it is really a blessing, especially up here in the boonies!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Bridge for providing Bible based teaching ministries. I listen to Greg Laurie, Skip Heitzig, Chris McCarrick and Jack Abeelen every day and have been blessed by them. We need more Bible teaching and Bible believing radio stations and churches. Well, I do not know where to start. I am on the road for at least 4-5 hours a day. I so look forward to listening to your broadcasts.The teachings are top shelf, so full of insight. All of your teachers have helped me at one time or another. I started listening quite a few years ago when I was backsliding and my marriage was ending and it seemed that my life was all but over. As God was speaking to me and I recommitted my life to Christ, your station helped to build my love of the scriptures back into my focus. By His grace and mercy, I have found a church and am re-fired up w/my love of Christ and a burning desire to know Him better through His word. I praise God for leading me to your radio broadcasts.You have really been such a blessing and I pray you are able to continue to touch people.

I feel the Lord guided me to The Bridge when I was first saved almost four years ago from the bondage of 30 years of drug and alcohol addiction. That in turn lead me to Calvary Chapel, by the grace of God. I am now able to be part of a blessed and growing Calvary Chapel in Goshen NY. As others have said on this site, the teaching on The Bridge is awesome. You  have been a very big part of my growth in Christ. I love you all at The Bridge and pray you will be richly blessed.

Your General Manager came to Calvary Coastlands in Eatontown, NJ a few weeks back and since then I’ve been listening to The Bridge at work on my computer.  I listen from about 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. I was listening to Dr. Youseff about resolving broken friendships and on Valentines Day I called a former friend of mine that I haven’t spoken to in over a year. Every day I’m inspired.  I find myself a lot more calmer at work now than I was before. I have also really enjoyed Jay Sekulow’s segment. I’ve learned a lot. So, God bless you and all that your radio station is doing. I look forward to coming to work so that I can learn more about God and how much more my personal relationship can be with him.

I love this radio station! I listen to you at 99.7 FM every day on my way to work. I have a 45 minute commute so I listen to "A New Beginning" and "The Connection" in the morning. I love to hear the Life Line spots in between! They are so funny and still get the biblical message across. I also like Ron Hutchcraft's Call to Greatness. I love to hear Patti Gates and how cheery she is every single day! Your radio station has been such a blessing in my life! Stumbling onto the Bridge has truly been a blessing in my life. I listen in the morning on the way to work and enjoy Lloyd Pulley and Greg Laurie ..it amazes me how the words and thoughts just flow out of these guys...truly a gift. I also like Xavier Reis's straightforward style..I try to plan trips in the work truck to catch him...other favorites are Stanley, McCarrick and Courson but my schedule doesn't fit their time slots well. My wife leads a small Bible study and it is amazing how often The Bridge is referenced in the discussion. Everyone has their favorites and touts their opinions..its kind of funny "Well ,Chris McCarrick says this" or "so and so says that" makes for good discussion... My wife and I have been dealing with a family issue for the past two years that seems totally impossible. Ever so slowly,we are learning how to deal with this issue (she learns faster than me) in Gods way and I have actually gotten myself to a place where, although a favorable outcome seems impossible by human standards, I honestly believe that somehow God is going to work this for good..in His time and in His way. I just have to be patient and trust Him. Where would I be if I didn't discover this belief?...scary to even think about it.  I have learned a good portion of this from you folks and I thank you. I love the music and the teachings beyond description.  It is good to have music to listen to that does not bombard us with negative elements.  I have been given new and greater incites into the Bible, and what God has planned for me.  This however is not why I am writing.  I used to work at West Point and I had to be at work at 5am Monday through Friday.  I had to start driving at 4am and the majority of the drive is done on unlit mountain roads.  I used to listen to music to help me fall asleep and wind down so sometimes listening to music no matter how, heavy and active, could put me to sleep.  That and it does not take any effort to listen to music.  I had been looking for a good Christian Radio station and I found The Bridge shortly before I started working at West Point.  The Bible studies that are played on your radio station kept me alive.  I was highly interested in hearing what was being said and it 'provoked' me into thinking on the topics that were being shared. On behalf of myself and my family I want to thank you for saving my life!

The teachings and words of strength, knowledge, wisdom, being humble, merciful, loving, forgiving, equality, and humanity has been refreshing words of hope. It is so hard to keep these values when your own Christian family are downgrading their testimonies making you doubt yourself when trying to stand strong in the walks with Christ. It has been a great blessing. I'm to the point where I wish my drive was longer so that I can finish listening to the teachings. I was tired of hearing the same songs being played and that's when I stopped on your station. I heard a beautiful worship song that I had not heard before.  I think you are the best we have here in this area. Since I discovered you, I don't change my dial on the radio. The bridge has made a tremendous impact in my life, especially now that I am going  through so many diffiucult times. God has used the Bridge to not only answer my prayers but to hit me with a few holy "2x4's" over the last year.  I was raised in a Baptist home, brought my children up in a "Christian home" but only realized in the last year (I'm 54 years old) that I was only listening but not hearing (with God ears) all these years.  Praise God -- he's used The Bridge over and over to try to get one message at a time into my heart and head.  He's so faithful, even for one as stubborn as me!

I drive frequently for work and listen to the Bridge in my car. Mostly, the teachings enlighten and explain the Word to me as a fairly new Christian, but more often than not - through the Holy Spirit - a teaching will be on the radio that speaks to what I am going through at the moment! I have had teachings convict me, guide me and sometimes even provide the answer to prayer! Sometimes, I listen to a teaching and have no idea how this pertains to anything that I am experiencing and later that day, someone will come up to me and say the same verse I heard in the teaching and then I will go to Bible Study and hear it again and usually by the third time, it has begun to work in my heart and I start understanding what God is saying to me. I have shared teachings heard on the Bridge with Christians as well as non-believers, have emailed teachers and ordered books and tapes that have blessed me and the lives of others. One of the most unique things that happened to me was recently - I was on assignment and unable to attend my regular service at Cornerstone Calvary Chapel. I walked into a little tiny denominational church in the Pine Barrens. The Pastor got up, opened the Word and began to share his message with us - a teaching he had heard on the Bridge that week on his drive home that particularly touched his heart. He explained how on his commute to his secular job in Atlantic City, he listens to the Bridge. I smiled.

God is with us always, everywhere we welcome Him regardless of the churches we attend, the jobs we hold and the places we are in - and the teachings of the Bridge - available 24/7 - help carry those Words to wherever our heart is.

"My name is Dawn DeStefano and I am Gianna's mom.  I came home today to hear a message from Marion that Gianna had won the Grinch essay contest.  I cannot begin to tell you how much this means to us!  When we first heard about the contest Gianna rushed home to the computer to start to write.  She did it all on her own, (with a little help with some of her spelling) and I was touched by what she wrote.  Our family has just gone through a very difficult divorce and unfortunately Gianna hasn't seen her Dad in months (his choice) and she and I both have really come to love your station.  Gianna most of the times prefers it to the other music stations!  We love The Adventures in Odyssey and try to guess the outcome.  We listen to a few different programs and we have both learned some valuable lessons.  She really listens to what is said.  This has been our second blessing in a week, I just got a new job and now this.  THANK YOU!!!!  Gianna has wanted to see a New York play so bad, and being newly divorced finances are not the greatest, and I was hoping to save up to be able to take her to one especially this holiday season as her birthday is December 27th.  Honestly, I don't think I would have been able to do it.  Again, you have no idea how much this means and how appreciated it is.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for brightening our holiday season and for making a very special wish, for a very special little girl, come true.  Thank you."
