Hello my beloved friends, I’m Pastor Tony Clark, the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Newport News (CCNN) in Virginia.  It is a profound blessing, privilege and pleasure to be on “The Bridge FM” and have the opportunity to share the gospel, God’s Word and His promises with you.  I and my two siblings were born and raised in the steel town of Gary, Indiana by two loving parents who instilled in us the ethics of hard work and moral character.

As a youngster, I dutifully attended church on Sundays, but lived life “my own way” Monday through Saturday.  After my freshman year in college, I joined the Marine Corp and while serving in Okinawa, Japan, came to know the Lord and establish a real relationship with Him. While in Okinawa, the Lord revealed to me that I would one day become a pastor.  In 1994, my lovely wife, Jenise and our three awesome children moved from Vista, CA to Virginia to begin CCNN. We are multi-cultural fellowship with over 1000 members representing over 30 countries. My heart’s desire is to “Make the Word Plain” for our daily living and to see lives transformed by the Good News of Jesus Christ.

At CCNN, we greet you from the heart with the words “Welcome Home” because we believe that whether you are a first time visitor or have been a part of the family for years – you always have a home at Calvary Chapel Newport News. We are excited and honored to include you, “The Bridge” listeners in that greeting.   I pray that God’s grace and peace will envelop you and that we will all be encouraged to continually share God’s hope and love with everyone we encounter.
