General Manager Brian comes to The Bridge after 25 years in the promotional advertising business. He sold his company in September of 2007 to devote the rest of his life to full-time ministry. Brian is very excited that God has him at The Bridge. "What a privilege to serve God through a ministry that brings His Word to potentially millions of listeners on a daily basis", states Brian. The Bridge brings together many of the finest teachers of our time…communicating God's Word clearly and boldly…often through verse-by-verse teaching. Brian says "Listening to The Bridge daily for even just a few months is like spending a year in Bible College." Favorite verse: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Kimberly McCarrickStation Manager Kim gave her life to Christ when she was five years old. However, God used many circumstances to make her completely dependent on Him. Through various missions trips, memorizing portions of the Bible and serving in the church, she grew to understand God’s love more and more. While away at school in Virginia she continued to serve in a church there, while juggling working, keeping up with the Honor’s Program, and staying involved in the social life of her dorm. In spite of her busy schedule, Kim finished in three and a half years. This along with her degree in Communications prepared her for where she is now at The Bridge, although God continues to teach her more every day. Favorite Verse: I have two verses that I have come to depend on. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future.” Also He says, “I will never leave you or forsake you,” in Heb. 13:5. Hobbies: Basketball, swimming, surfing, going to the beach, and anything outside. |

 Patti Gates "the Voice of The Bridge" Dubbed the "Voice of the Bridge," Patti has served in this position since the onset of the Bridge in 2003. Patti began her walk with Jesus in 1984 after meeting and working with John Gates, who would become her husband four years later. By the grace of God, Patti is still blessed to be able to co-labor with husband, John, in the radio ministry of the Bridge. She enjoys the blessing of knowing that the Lord is doing a great and mighty work through this radio ministry and is privileged to be used in His service. Favorite verse: “Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:31 |

 John GatesPromotions Coordinator/On-Air Before coming to The Bridge, John was involved in the music business. He began singing and playing the drums at the age of 15. The year he graduated high school, John started recording and traveling with a local band, and by 1977, continued his music career on an international level performing and recording with well-known secular artists of the day. It was in that year that John came to know Christ as his Lord and Savior. In 1985, he was asked to join the Christian band GLAD. Since then, John has recorded 19 albums and traveled throughout the world with GLAD, communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In January 2005, the Lord called him to full-time radio ministry by going on staff at the Bridge. Although John continues to travel occasionally with GLAD and teaches drums to the next generation of Christian drummers, God has given him a passion for the ministry of The Bridge and he is blessed to serve alongside of his wife, Patti. They have two children. Favorite verse: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3: 5-6 |

Marion is the wife of Senior Pastor Chris McCarrick of Cornerstone Calvary Chapel. In 1979. Marion received Christ, married Chris and moved from NJ to Oregon where she became grounded in the faith at Applegate Christian Fellowship with Pastor Jon Courson. There they began their family and had four children. Years later she returned to NJ, where she attended Calvary Chapel Old Bridge until she moved to Toms River. In 1994, their small home group grew into a church, which is now Cornerstone Calvary Chapel. Marion currently heads up the women’s ministry at Cornerstone Calvary Chapel and serves as the administrative assistant at The Bridge.
