Paul joined The Bridge Christian Radio station in October 2011. Feeling the tug of the Holy Spirit, he decided to step out of the semiconductor manufacturing industry where he served for several years in management and leadership positions. In the summer of 1992, Paul gave his life to Christ in California where he and his wife Vicky lived for several years. The Lord led the Bohlinger’s back east to settle in New Jersey where they have been attending Calvary Chapel Old Bridge. Paul is an elder at CCOB and is involved in several ministries such as foster & adoption care, which is a passion of his. Paul and Vicky have been married for over 20 years and have two beautiful children, Becky and Sammy. Paul states, “It has been a blessing and a pleasure to read the testimonies of our listeners telling us how God’s word, through The Bridge, has encouraged them through the struggles of this world. Our vision is to grow this station in order to encourage more and more people with the life-changing message of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Brian came to The Bridge in January of 2008 after 25 years in the promotional advertising business. He sold his company in September of 2007 to devote the rest of his life to full-time ministry. Brian is very excited that God allowed him the privilege to lead this vibrant ministry these past 4 years. Brian recently sensed the Lord informing him that his season serving at Bridge FM was ending. He continues to serve as a consultant and is assisting in the launch of the expanded 89.7 FM signal that will soon be reaching over 400,000 homes in 36 towns in Monmouth and Ocean County in NJ. "What a privilege to serve God through a ministry that brings His Word to potentially millions of listeners on a daily basis", states Brian. The Bridge brings together many of the finest teachers of our time... communicating God's Word clearly and boldly... often through verse-by-verse teaching. Brian says "Listening to The Bridge daily is like attending Bible College without the tuition!"

Hobbies: Reading, golf, networking and spending time with my bride of 33 years, Patti and my two children and grandson!

Dubbed the "Voice of the Bridge," Patti has served in this position since the onset of the Bridge in 2003. Patti began her walk with Jesus in 1984 after meeting and working with John Gates, who would become her husband four years later. By the grace of God, Patti is still blessed to be able to co-labor with husband, John, in the radio ministry of the Bridge. She enjoys the blessing of knowing that the Lord is doing a great and mighty work through this radio ministry and is privileged to be used in His service.

Favorite verse: “Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:31

Before coming to The Bridge, John was involved in the music business.   He began singing and playing the drums at the age of 15.   The year he graduated high school, John started recording and traveling with a local band, and by 1977, continued his music career on an international level performing and recording with well-known secular artists of the day.   It was in that year that John came to know Christ as his Lord and Savior.

In 1985, he was asked to join the Christian band GLAD.   Since then, John has recorded 19 albums and traveled throughout the world with GLAD, communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In January 2005, the Lord called him to full-time radio ministry by going on staff at the Bridge.   Although John continues to travel occasionally with GLAD and teaches drums to the next generation of Christian drummers, God has given him a passion for the ministry of The Bridge and he is blessed to serve alongside of his wife, Patti.   They have two children.

Favorite verse: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3: 5-6

Paula comes to us after many years of a human resources career in corporate America. During the financial crisis of 2009, she was excessed, when the business closed, and God opened the door for her to volunteer at The Bridge for the last two years. Saved at a camp meeting at the age of 14, she has attended CCOB for the last 6 years. She has been encouraged by Christian Radio throughout her life and thanks God that He chose The Bridge to use her in His ministry.

Paula is a wife, a mother and an owner of two mini-schnauzers.
