Fasting for Bridgefest - July 5th 2010
 This past June 6th, God put it on our hearts to organize a Prayer Walk for Bridgefest. Many awesome things happened that day and we thank those that came to Ocean Grove to join us in prayer! Reports from the prayer teams were very exciting! Two of our prayer warriors stopped and talked with a young couple... and 20 minutes later they were praying to receive Christ as their Savior!!! A youth pastor 'happened' to be on the beach with a dozen others from his youth group... and they are now enthusiastically participating in Bridgefest 2010!!! A group of young skateboarders were told about the Saturday youth event... and can't wait to attend. God is so good! Please continue to pray, pray, pray for July 23rd and 24th!
We are still sensing that God has mighty plans for this year's Bridgefest...so we're asking those that are able, to consider setting all or part of Monday, July 5th aside to fast and pray for Bridgefest! Fasting is when we recognize our own limitations and we turn to God to intercede. We want God's power, might, and majesty to reign at Bridgefest... and nothing more.
We need to cry out for His intercession... that souls will be saved by the hundreds... even thousands! Fasting causes us to be humble before God as we ask Him to pour out His Spirit throughout the Bridgefest weekend. Fasting is when we put aside our own hunger and replace it with hunger for God! Your fast can be for the full day, through a meal, or a fast from desserts or snacks. If you choose to participate, we're asking that you pray for all aspects of Bridgefest; weather, teachers, artists, technical, vendors, staff, servants, travel and safety. We hope you're planning on joining us for our 5th annual Bridgefest Summer Festival!

Movement at Bridgefest - New Youth Event!
Get ready for the most exiting youth event of the summer! Starting Saturday at 1PM right out in front of the Youth Temple in Ocean Grove...we shut down the street and bring in the skateboard ramps! Watch award-winning skateboarders do an amazing demo...while enjoying Christian music with DJ Promote! At 2PM you'll move in to the youth temple and hear an amazing testimony from pro surfer Jesse Hines and a great message from Mike Doyle (pictured in photo on right). Jesse and Mike will both be on hand earlier on Saturday for our morning surf clinics. All the details on the surf clinics and youth event can be viewed here

We're excited to announce that Pastor Nathan will now be teaching weekdays at 3PM. Nathan will be one of our teachers joining us at this year's Bridgefest! Pastor Nathan will bring a special message on Friday, July 23rd at 11AM in the Ocean Grove Tabernacle. His message title is: Maintaining Your Passion and Vision for God. - 10 x 10 Pop-Up Tents (loaned or donated!).
- Oversized Coolers (loaned or donated!).
- Bottled Water by the case (as many as you want to donate, 50 total cases needed).
- Family-sized packs of Paper Towels.
- Strings of decorative or Christmas lights (white only) for lighting tents on Friday night.
- Financial donations earmarked for Bridgefest 2010 or the Youth Event, payable to Bridge FM.
