Special Message from the GM...
I want to bring to your attention a proposal in Washington, DC that would create a 'Performance Tax' that radio stations like The Bridge would have to pay for every song aired on our network. In addition to the song fees, this new law would create an enormous record keeping burden on our ministry. There is a resolution in Congress called The Local Radio Freedom Act that opposes a performance tax on radio. Please make this issue a matter of prayer. You can also contact your Congress member (www.house.gov) and Senators (www.senate.gov) and ask that they support The Local Radio Freedom Act.
