Hello, I'm Rodney Finch, the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Cary in North Carolina. I am so blessed, honored and humbled to be joining the quality lineup of great Bible teachers on "The Bridge FM." I was born and raised in Philadelphia as the son of a single parent. My mother was hard-working and managed to send me and my brother to Catholic school. Although I attended Catholic school into the high school years, I never saw the need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In the early 70's and 80's my life revolved around the use of drugs. In 1979, I joined the U.S. Navy and became a Hospital Corpsman for the next 13 years. On Jan. 23, 1982, a Marine Corps friend took me to church for a Saturday evening revival, and when the call was given to receive Jesus, I prayed and trusted Christ to be my personal savior and life was never the same, as the Word of God has changed my life. I am dedicated to teaching the Bible, verse-by-verse and have a commitment to the study of God's Word because I believe this is the only way to experience true transformation. So thanks for listening, we appreciate it. Our prayer is that you will enjoy, learn and grow in your knowledge of the Word of God.
