Harvest of Hope Family Services Network, Inc., award recipient of the Health and Human Services Excellence in Adoption Practice and Angel in Adoption, believes that you can be a part of the solution for children. There are about 8,000 children in the State of New Jersey, that are in need of loving homes and families, close to 800 of these children are awaiting adoption; forever families. The faith community is the most valuable resource in producing families that are appropriate to care for these children.

Harvest of Hope is a faith based organization founded by Rev. DeForest B. Soaries, Jr., Senior Pastor, of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens. Harvest of Hope works in partnership with the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS), and churches throughout the state of NJ, to develop, support and retain foster and adoptive families. Additionally, their objective is to retain existing homes by offering comprehensive support services, regular networking opportunities with other families and relevant in-service training.
